Comics about the real and the raw of becoming a parent

I think a lot about creating cultures where we can own the entirety of our human experiences without shame. Where we can show up as we are, and have that be enough. And I realised recently, on getting pregnant and finding myself having a rough time with it, that the fulfilment of that dream started with me doing precisely that: showing up as I was, and owning the entirety of my experience.

My Maternal Musings documents the glories and the mess of becoming a first time parent (though I'm hopeful that it will extend to becoming a second time parent and beyond, too!). It's meant to be an encouragement and a good laugh for those who have been through similar experiences, or are going through them now.
